Our 5-Year Strategic Plan

As Arm in Arm prepares for the future, its Board of Directors has endorsed a 5-year plan for each of its 3 programming areas (Food, Healthcare, Education), as well as its approach to Leadership. In programming, for example, there is a new emphasis on self-reliance, created in collaboration with the people we serve in South Africa. Within our Food program, Food Parcels will be augmented by Food Production tests in an effort to move solely from a model of gifting to a model of gifting and growing food. Within Leadership, there is a new focus on evolving our Board to include more South African members and more people of color to expand our both knowledge of SA culture and shared life experiences.
